Away games in Memorial Stadium?

Would you watch an away game on the Jumbotron at Memorial Stadium for $10?

I'm just curious how many people would tailgate at Memorial Stadium and go in and watch the Jumbotron for good away games (Ohio State, Michigan, etc...).

This is just a fun what if, but if I could get in for $5 to $10 and watch a game with a few thousand fans while having a beer that sounds like a great time.

I'm pretty sure the University wouldn't have any of this (don't know if alcohol can be served on campus if the teams not there), plus extra workers and security would be needed.

It's a dry campus unless certain "special" events can get an alcohol license. Those are really hard to get though. And just from liability alone, I'd say this has a 98% of never happening. Would be fun though.

There's one game a year that students get to go into the stadium and watch the game on the big screen. Oh the perks you get for being a student.

Nebraska football games are plenty fun and exciting without alcohol in the stadium. There's plenty of time for drinking before and after anyway.

I think this would be a neat thing to do. Always thought the university should do giant watch parties in the Devaney Center for the big Bowl Games. The NC games and Conference championship games in the past. Would be a good way to make some extra revenue on cheap ticket sales and concession sales etc.

Being a dry campus (with exceptions) just bring a tv and beer to Arch. Hall which is the only building on campus you can legally drink.

Of course!

I have fond memories of watching away games in Memorial Stadium.

My last experience was watching Taylor run wild on K-State on a Thursday night.

It was a pretty fun time. Would have been MORE fun with alcohol, but whatteryagonnado?

I'm thinking let people bring in blankets and sit on the field too...
