B1G coach of the year...

1. Lameyer

2. Bo Palini

3. O'Brien (Only can be said aloud with an Irish accent. If you didn't say Irish with an Irish accent as well then you are failing.)

I'd vote for O'brien hands down. McGloin's improvement and how they performed despite the defections is remarkable.

IMO Urban Meyer inherited a very talented team. He didn't have to do much there. Miller is a difference maker.

O'Brien.

(but someone outside of the state lines should at least point out the data in the OP concerning B0's efforts......)

I'm going with Pelini, O'Brien, then Meyer- in that order. I can see the case for O'Brien but just because it could have been so much worse is really not COY worthy in my estimation. He has done a well above average job, in terrible circumstances, against a powderpuff schedule. Compare that to what Pelini has done with a no name defense and the toughest schedule by far in the conference. I'm not being a homer and Pelini doesn't strike me as the "COY" type but, facts are facts. As for Meyer, well f him, he inherited that and there needs to be a penalty for cheating even if he inherited that too. If you can't play in your CCG or a bowl, tough titties.

Fitzgerald. I'd say O'Brien has a shot, but that could be a bit awkward. I mean, his team is in the fix it's in because, well, you know.
