B1G Payout Going Up Nearly $10M

I thought so. You've talked about where you're from before. Same region as my family.
It is sort of a no mans land area, the Burbs of Chicago are way more into the Irish than any other team.

As you know, Chitown is a pro town AND 2.5 hours or so from the Illini campus, there just is not much love.  And no one cares about NW.

Hell ND is closer to Chicago and they even do bus trip tailgates to Irish games.

You kind of end up with a lot of non-college fans in the area.

Can't get a decent bagel there, either.

You have can Portillos delivered and the family pack is a decent price.  I have not done it but a friend of mine has and he said they turned out great.
We do.

Portillo's and Al's beef.  I have some restaurant down here claiming they have a Chicago dog.  Its not close
There is a little hole in the wall on Cicero just south of Midway that has the best Italian beef. He’s just like the soup nazi if you try to order it with red sauce.

Which…..I would never do.

Johnny's Beef was always my favorite and the did red sauce if you wanted but I usually just did it dipped hot and wet.

I have tried to recreate it at home two different times but in the end, without a slicer, it just isn't the same.

When I was a kid I would always hear how bad Cicero Ave was on the news, shootings, gangs, drugs...well my dad took me to work with him one day on a Saturday, we were driving down Cicero and it was calm and quiet and peaceful, I was like 11 years old and I looked at my Dad and said "Wow, this doesn't seem all that bad"

And he looked at me and said "Yeah, I grew up around here, it was the second place we lived when I came to America...it is quiet now because everyone is sleeping off their hangovers, just wait until about 4pm". Haha

I lived in a hotel just south of Midway for several months quite a few years ago. I wonder if I had been to the same place. The south side was full of hole in the wall joints in rough areas that had amazing gyros and Italian beef.

But you know who had better Italian beef sandwiches than anywhere in Chicago (and I’ve tried a lot)? Lincoln’s M&N Sandwich Shop. That place was the best, bar none.

I had a pretty good italian beef and an italian sausage at Swap-o-rama lol.  I grew up in Gary, IN so the stigma of certain areas of Chicago didn't really bother me.  We used to park just outside of Chinatown and walk like what seemed like 5 miles to Bears games

Please tell me he’s Italian and said that in his best mobster voice.
