They were rated based on the expected success of Tom Herman.  Some in the media considered this hire as a homerun like the Frost one. Maybe Herman will be a big success, but his team needs a lot of work first. Hard to say.  

 
This is only the first week, and I get that (Sucks that N didn’t get their game). With that said, OSU looked dominant. Wisconsin looked the second best — very good but not great. And I don’t expect the Hawks to be any different than last year, except they will not have their way with OSU again. With that said and the disappointment of the other top teams, I still expect N to still have a very tough schedule, and these teams may get better. But darn it, we didn’t get any idea where N stands.

Michigan looked pretty bad. There right and left tackles really sucked. The defense didnt show up unti it was 21 nothing, but much of the problem they had was sefl inflicted with bad penalties and getting out played by ND receivers. They either have not heart or were just to c$%ky to satrt to game. NDs quarterback had a great night. 

 
B1G narrowly avoided a disaster this weekend.  Two Top-11 teams nearly lost to terrible teams.  Illinois isn't any better.  A Michigan win would have helped.

At least everyone else took care of business.  Wisconsin, tOSU and Iowa (after a bad start) took care of business.

Will this be a B1G Week 1-12 thread or a new one each week?  I forgot how it went last few years.  I'm getting old :lol:

I made a new one each week.  Usually when the B1G tweeted out the league schedule for the week.  But I haven't seen one yet this week.   :dunno
