bad news for me

If anyone remembers me talking about my mom and her cancer a few months back.... Well i got bad news yesterday.. They gave her 6 months to a year to live... Sucks cause other then my wife and kids she is all i have left.. So i hope the Huskers can give me some thing to cheer about with her on Saturdays!!!!

 
My condolences. I lost my father when I was 10 - my mother kept us together all the years thereafter. I lost her almost 10 years ago, also from cancer, and think of her everyday.

 
So sorry! I also lost my Dad to cancer last year. One of the hardest things I've ever done. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him somehow. Make memories and spend time together. It's a shame we can't find a cure.........

I'm really sorry to hear that. I don't know you, but I know how you must feel. I too hope the Huskers put on a good show for her in the upcoming Saturdays.
