I heard the same thing on ESPNAUSTIN.com this morning. The reporter couldn't give the name of the "significant" offensive player and wasn't sure if it would be announced today or at game time. It will hurt, but we are very deep at WR. It always sucks to lose one of your best players especially with so much riding on the game. I can tell you this, if he can play, he will. Jordan Shipley is a MAN! I hope if he is hurt, he gets healthy for the bowl season. He helped get us here, he deserves to be part of the end of this great run.

A sports radio station out of Austin that claims to be a Longhorn flagship station was broadcasting Jim Rome right now, so I cannot find anything on this.

1530 AM Austin was talking about it this morning. They said it was an offensive starter. The guy said he couldn't name anything yet and they would know more in the afternoon and tomorrow morning. I got the feel he was talking an O-Lineman.

I sure hope hes there I want no excuses from the fighting uteri.

That said, I bet he still plays. He's a very tough SOB.

And of course we want your team to be healthy as well. Leave those comments for the sooners and aggys.

Btw, how is Lee? I assumed since he came back in against CU that he would be good to go for our game.

 
they don't have to disclose injuries do they? Sounds like speculation to add spark the day before the game. :dunno

Not listed on today's injury report. The Austin American-Statesman update from about half an hour ago says the only injury listed is cornerback Clark Ford.

 
This would certainly make things interesting if it turns out to be true.

The big 12 this year seems to be a matter of survival considering the # of major injuries that teams have been hit with. I don't remember it ever being this bad.
