Bad pattern?

It could be either increasing losses or it could be Win Win Loss Win Win Loss Loss Win Win Loss Win Win Loss Loss... there's no reason why it couldn't be either.

If it's the latter I guess we lose tomorrow, beat Kstate and CU, and then get beaten by Texas and at our Bowl game.

f#*k the pattern, we'll just win out.

word on that last part.

however, it could not be your scenario of ending with win win loss loss, because the original set only had twelve spots. your scenario necessitates 14 spots. you are not wrong, that is a pattern, a possible pattern, but not when given only 12 spots.

Exactly.

What would the pattern be of we opened up confernce play with Texas, TTech & OSU and then but up on the trash that occupies most of the north?

The whole thing is stupid.

Do you want me to dig up some stat where we are 7-3 at home in day games in November when our total yardage ends up an odd number vs. teams whose yardage end up an odd #? It would make about as much sense as this argument.

How did a weird coincidence turn into argument? Odds are against it happening, just interesting...
that is funny, just because it is interesting how the pattern would play out logically does not mean that is how the husker schedule will play out. also, what is the deal with every calling it stupid? why read it? sometimes when people think something is stupid, it turns out it is because they are stupid...

That pattern is definitely not set. If it were a song and a rhythm it would be win win loss win win loss loss win win loss win win loss loss and so on.

Three losses doesn't really fit with the established pattern. If it were like this then that would make sense:

win, loss, win, win, loss, loss, win, win, win, loss loss loss and so on.

Just sayin.
i have to disagree with you, given the set involved and the finite number of variables, it would most logically be A A B A A B B A A B B B. Because there are only 12 spaces, that best suits the pattern; the 'blank blank blank' locks in your options. Think jazz, not blues... but this is not a song.

No offfense, but Zaimejs is right here... He's not saying it can't be "LLL" or that it has to be "LWW"... The correct answer woul be there is not enough information to determine the pattern for certain. the blank blank blank can also take the loss win win into account, which would also fit the pattern. just sayin.

your scenario necessitates 14 spots.
Regular season + Big12CG + Bowl game = 14 games no?

Win Win Loss Win Win Loss Loss is the pattern = 7 games.

Repeat the pattern you get 14 games, and interestingly enough it would allow us to win the North and then lose the CG and Bowl game. I think it works quite nicely.

However, in the end we're just arguing on a moot point because it's late and we're bored and we can't wait for tomorrow's game.

The only pattern I ever want to see at Nebraska is Win, Win, Win, Win, Win, Win....

I know there are 14 games overall, possibly, but the OP only allowed for 12. i still believe it would have to conclude with LLL to fit the two emerged patterns. but, who cares, the games on!

Both patterns are broken and I love it. Still worried about next week, that score today was incredibly deceiving and we almost blew it. The worst was our D - they gave up a lot of yards and plays to a team that has been struggling offensively. I hope this was a wake up call to play hard the rest of the season.

i thought we would have caused more turnovers.
