Badger Meltdown

Loving this.

Although I can't help but imagine how bad Ohio St would be pummeling us right now. Glad I'm missing that show.
Ya, I'm glad we didn't have to play them. Wouldn't have been pretty.

This is what I don't get. If you play Wisconsin you know they can't pass well. You design your whole defensive game plan around stopping Gordon. With comparable talent you should always be able to take one guy out of the game if you make that your sole objective. Why couldn't we do this? Simple. Coaching.

Wisconsin fans are awful. A doctor buddy of mine, a UCLA alum, attended Rose Bowls against the Badgers, and said their fans were leading cheers such as "fu@#$$@k the Bruins." Lot of class there. Don't know how they got that way. Couldn't be from Alvarez, he used to be a Husker...

Strange thing is, I think we would play OSU tough. Weird Pelini way, possibly beat them. With a different coach, we would beat them.

I think they would take over TCU because they played a 2-10 team today (thats not an impressive game).
Well, TCU's sole lose was to a top 6 Baylor team. OSU's was to Va Tech. Plus, I think TCU has more quality wins. I don't see OSU jumping them. FSU has to lose.
WIth this theory, even if FSU loses, they lose to a ranked 11 team and that would still be above OSU, so the top 4 wouldnt change
So TCU should throw out their entire season of work because of one game that was made by the Conference? Iowa State's record is their problem, not TCU.

On Wisconsin('s throat)!

I was hoping for a game, though and was kind of expecting it to be close... This is a surprise.

I'm not the one ranking these teams, but after watching how they rank them, it makes no sense to me. Why would FSU be #4 when they are undefeated since last year and as returning champs?

Watching a 3rd string QB take control of a game and just make plays makes methink Beck was waaaay, waaaay, way off.

Coaching, makes a huge difference

Despite OSU's beating of Wisconsin, they (and the Big Ten) will be left out of the Playoff. FSU is going to win, and the top 4 will stay the same (though I think Oregon will claim the #1 seed).

There will be some valid arguments for 4th spot. Alabama, Oregon, FSU are in. The team that has the best chance to beat one of those three teams should be in. I think TCU has a better defense and offense than Ohio State, they've played more ranked teams, and their Heisman hopeful is healthy and will start. That's where I lean towards them. But who knows. It's just my opinion.
