Bama/LSU Title Game produces lowest TV ratings in the BCS Era

I stuck it out through almost the entire thing and then turned it off a few minutes before Richardson's TD run. Not that it mattered since I watched the parade of Jefferson errors and big Bama hits on the LSU offense and of course the Bama kicking game. I love college football, but that was a dern struggle to get through as much of the game as I did. I would agree with this whole heartedly.

Years of bitching by the fans got no one's attention..................................hemorrhaging money with a new contract coming up soon does...............
The bottom line is taking a major hit so that will be the impetus behind an adjustment to the system as it stands now. I have only heard some snippits on the radio, but it sounds like the +1 system is the one the key decision makers are in favor of at the moment. I don't know that, that minor adjustment will improve the bottom line over the long time, but it would seem they are being dragged towards a playoff system ever so slowly....like a freaking glacier.

Yea, the one's running the bowls wont let go of their tax free cruises and human growth hormones any time soon. Whatever comes out of these latest talks will be half assed as well. It might take another 15 years of controversy at the end of each season to move to something different again.

Honestly they could've avoided this if they had selected Oklahoma State instead of Alabama. I keep hearing all these sportswriters say that if you don't win your conference you don't deserve to be in the championship game but then they go and do the opposite. People ragged on us when we made it in against Miami and many felt we didn't deserve to be there but then vote us in. Atleast they need to follow their own logic if they are going to complain about something. that really is the problem that we have.
