Scissor Fight. Super solid heeeaaaavy rock band. Quirky with killer music. Not even sure they are around.

Type O Negative...although they were pretty big as far as following goes. They would headline these massive european concerts in front of 50K, but then I'd read how they only sold like double platinum at most on each album here in the US.

I was just thinking Type -O last Friday.

 
Gee Whiz..A band out of Orleans, NE from the early 80's that broke up when the lead singer married my Dad's cousin's daughter..They used to play in various farmers' quansets and a bar in Holdrege...The last time I heard them, I was home from UNL one Christmas break and they played the whole B-side of Abby Road perfectly.
