Banker vs Cosgrove

It seems that both Cosgrove and Banker were hired in part because of their recruiting capability. Both had some success and some poor seasons as DC. Who hired the defensive staffs? It appears Riley hired his entire defensive staff, and I like that there are a couple of staff members who were former DCs. How do you compare Cosgrove's staff to Banker's? I am tired of piss poor defense. With the exception of a two year stretch, the NU defense has bee subpar since 2001. I think we see improvement this year just because last year was so pathetic against the run.

Well, it wouldn't make sense to hire a guy that was incompetent at recruiting. Let's just hope Banker can field a stout defense. Something that Cosgrove wasn't able to achieve.
