The most recent Powerball winner has stepped forward, months after he declared bankruptcy.
Des Moines, Iowa -- An Iowa man who filed for bankruptcy seven months ago is no longer worrying about money.
He won the Powerball lottery, taking a lump sum of $54.7 million.
Hugh Hawkins, his wife Cindy and two of their children appeared at a news conference to collect the jackpot from the December 14th lottery.
He says he's planning to share the wealth with family and friends, and take some luxury vacations.
And though he has plenty of cash, there's one thing he says he'll never buy: an alarm clock.
Still, he says he plans to keep working.
