Barfknecht

I read the article. USC, Texas, Oklahoma are good teams to compare to. We're not there yet. I personally think Callahan and his group have not succeeded, but I'm not going to bash him for trying.

I just root for NU each week, one game at a time as they come. We've got A&M this week and that's all I care about. A&M is traditionally tough at home, it wont be easy, but dont let that 8-2 record they have fool you. I like our chances this week. A lot! A heckuva lot!! :thumbs

Nebraska will win this weekend.

The worst thing NU could become is a coaching carousel. You wanna talk about the quickest way to go into a deep, deep hole? That's it.
Sooner or later(hopefully later) we will have to find a new coach do to whatever reason. If we want to get good canidates we need to give Cally plenty of time .

I think that BC was destined to take a little longer than those other three just because of the radical change in schemes and the need to bring in different players. He also did not come to a school surrounded by a super talent base and yes OU has always been able to recruit well in texas. So his using those other 3 schools as something to compare BC to is skewed for his articles benifit.

So f#*k Him and his self serving statistics

NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!!

We haven't won the North in 7 f%&k*ing years!

I really don't see how people can sit by and watch the Colorado's and the K-States got to the Champ game for the past seven years and b!^@h with jealousy. Then turn around and downplay the significance of actually winning the damn thing and saying....well the North sucks. Pick a lane FTLOG!

Barffuct the first time I read one of your articles I thought you where being borrowed from across the river, now I now you are! Go back to Iowa!

We may not like how he said it, but can anyone really argue with what he said?
Definatly. He keeps referencing texas, USC and OU in his year 3 comparisons. Not a fair comparison. Texas and USC are NFL talent machines without even trying. And super recruiter John Blake built up the talent base at OU so well that it made it easy on Stoops.

Solich left the talent so thin it was crippling. Yeah, there were some players drafted by the NFL. but having possitions just 1 deep isnt how you build a program, there was no depth. The attitude that it was going to back to mid 90s form after 3 years is stupid beyond words. The teams from the mid 90s were not built overnight, they took time.

BArfknecht acts like sence he doesnt think the north is any good, we shouldnt even play this year. We have to win the north before we can win the Big 12. Period. Winning the north is something we havnt done sence '99. You cant win national titles without winning your division either. Goals are progressive. One at a time.

He attacks but has no answers. No where in the article does he propose anything other than be pissed at Callahan and Pederson. If Lee loves Solich so much, he can move to Athens and cover the Bobcats.
