Special Teams Player of the Week

 

Barry Turner, So, DE, Nebraska (Antioch, Tenn.)

 

Barry Turner's special teams play led to nine Nebraska points in its 37-14 win against Colorado. Turner caught a 29-yard touchdown pass off a fake field goal in the second quarter. Later in the game, he downed a punt inside the Colorado 1-yard line, leading to a safety on the next play.
