BaseBolt - Huskers vs TCU - 3 game series in Arlington, TX

I'm not able to provide pbp or updates, but this is all I have today.

TCU leading 2-1 after 3 innings.

We are in the bottom of the 3rd.  TCU jumped out on top 1-0 in the first.  They've been on base with 5 hits and 2 walks (ahem, starting ptiching @Mavric  ;) ).  

The Huskers went hit less through 2, but bounced back in the top of 3rd. Matthews doubled, tagged up and went to 3rd on a fly out (sac), scored on a single by Banjoff.  Everitt followed that with a single, but with 2 on base, Huskers fly out, strikeout.

Doubt Huskers McCarville will stay in much longer if that.   In the 3rd, he gave a walk, then double to score the runner, breaking the tie.  However, he strikes out a hot hitter to end the threat and inning.

2-1 is the score with Huskers batting now in the 4th.  Huskers are battling in this one.  I got high hopes

Well ... it looked like it was going to be a good outing.  Two out of seven.

But now it's back to below-average and might end up pretty bad.  One out of seven.

Yes sir... I was thinking the bats been cold and the problem, but agree with you 'bout the starting pitching problems.  That''s why I tagged you ;)
