Battles coming up....

Competition pushes everyone to be their best! Depth is a thing we have been lacking. All these position battles are great. Its going to be very difficult to wait this offseason out. Im already couting the days til next season.

I just hope we don't have a lot of frustrated players who find themselves further down the depth chart and decide to leave.

Ask the LB's how big of mistake that can be ;)

Well, that doesn't stop recruits from going to USC and Texas knowing damn well they are loaded at every position.

 
As far as best quarterback in the big twelve next year, I would also throw Bret Meyer in there. He may not have all of the throws like Taylor does, but ISU does play to his strong suits well, and they return a very good receiving core. Taylor obviously has more nfl potential than Meyer, but Meyer could put up some big numbers next year if ISU can manage to find a running game.

 
The spring practice may turn cannabalistic. Going to be a bunch of meat eaters all striving to get playing time. The coaches may have to wear padded suits to break up all the battles. Sounds like the 95 team attitude is coming back. Have to wait and see.
