BCS OUT TODAY

Nebraska is ranked 23rd in the top 25 BCS poll released today. Nebraska is 24th in the Harris Poll. 29th in the Coaches poll. Bit this is the only poll that matters, the BCS poll. I wonder how the top 4 teams (USC, Texas, Vtech, Georgia) are going to feel when they all go undefeated. All 4 teams will have legitimate arguments (well maybe not Texas since Ohio St turned out to be a fraud) about playing in the BCS title game.

:thumbs You are right.. it really doesn't matter much however it is VERY nice to see the Huskers back in top 25!!!
 
Well,hopefully we will keep winning and keep getting higher. It really puts Notre Dame in their place too. I like the BCS, it did help us out a few years back.

 
wow didnt notice notre dame down that far the first time i looked at it.. those computers must not like them very much

Riddle me this. If the BCS factors in strength of schedule, what would happen to Nebraska when they beat Missouri and Texas Tech beats Texas?

Since our only loss is to Tech, that should speak volumes about the team.

This is my first chance to check on the team since listening to the game on Saturday.. Well..... barely being able. To hear that the Huskers are ranked is a great, great, great thing.

BC & Co. need to keep it that way, and there is no better way to do that than staking up those Ws :woo

Go figure....

NU becomes ranked after beating Baylor......

That is something to remember, a rarity indeed

The teams that we have beaten haven't exactly had great years so I think strength of schedule is working against us more than anything right now. Sure we almost beat Tech, but we almost got beat by Pitt, and didn't look all that impressive against Maine.

Neither team (Tech or Horns) have a defense that can stop the other. The last team that scores wins this game. 52 - 49 Raiders (Hodges is the man right now, V. Young is a close second). :thumbs
