On paper Nebraska should lose by 2-3 scores. I just think all the pressure is on Ohio State and Nebraska is pissed about losing to Wisconsin.

Let's go win it.

 
Losing to Wisconsin in the fashion we did will have us more motivated than we have been all year. Add in the fact that Ohio State is almost a top 5 team and the poster child of the Big Ten, the team knows how big this is.

A chance to knock of the Big Ten bully, we will do everything we can to win. Go Big Red!

 
Stop the long ball, force a TO, actually set up DPE for a return and let TA run. A lot. We win. Its my upset prediction for the week.

 
I would love a last second win with a field goal. THAT would be the best Sam tribute of all. Brown has been clutch all year.

 
Title of thread reminded me of this story:

My first year of assisting with the 9th grade FB team. End the practice with gassers yelling "Beat the _____", where the blank is the next opponent's team name, like "Beat the Tigers". The week before playing one team we yelled "Beat Springfield" since 9th graders shouldn't yell "Beat the Trojans"

I think the defense will hold its own in the game. It really comes down to whether the offense can generate some points. TA needs to have a good game, it doesn't have to be phenominal, just a good game. No INTs and a solid passing and running day. That combined with about 125 yards on the ground by the RB and things may fall into place.

If the OSU team that showed up to play Oklahoma rears its head than NU will lose. When they play that well not too many teams are going to have a chance.

 
I feel the sleeping giant is about to awaken and explode. Unfortunately that would be the Buckeyes.

Hope so much I'm wrong. Too many perfect things IMO need to happen. Line play both sides of the ball, DE containment, album coverage in space, a running game, controlled poised Tommy, a punt return.

Wild card could be Tim Beck.

Need to pass well this game, limit turnovers on offense and defense needs to pick off Jt. We should also force a fumble in this game as we haven't done that in a long time.

Play with each other and make plays is what the defense needs to do against OSU.
