Beck cost us this game

Fire Papuchis and move Beck to defensive coordinator. Before today, I didn't think any coach would be able to shut down the Nebraska running game. Beck did so with ease in the second half.

I have to say NUance, I really admire your optimism, and it never wavered throughout the game.

But right now I don't think a wholesale coaching change would set us back. We do have a lot of talent. I think if someone came in and really simplied things while stressing fundamentals and discipline, they could be succesful right out of the gate.

Sad to say it because I like Bo, but you're right. I'd hire that new d-line coach back too....he seems to be coming along well with the new guys .

This is a good question, and I've never been on the fire Bo bandwagon before now. But I'm honestly just not sure about the answer at this point... CAN they turn it around? Honestly, we've been going backwards for several years now. How lost can you get before you have to change course?

I'm heading off the see Ohio State play Cal here in Berkeley. I have no love for Urban Meyer, but dude has yet to lose a single game with his new team. Just sayin'...

Mora is an uber genius compared to Bo and Beck. I knew they would come out the second half with adjustments just like last year. What I didn't realize was the total meltdown by both the offense and defense in the second half. I blame the offense more. They were horrible.

I would trade Mora for Bo in a heartbeat. Why do we struggle so bad in picking good head coaches? Are we cheap? We need to spend some money and get some proven coaches here. We can succeed with good coaches.

IMHO, part of the problem is US. They know we'll hold their feet to the fire and Im sure its intimidated some coaches out of coming to Lincoln

I Do Not agree with this at all. They have some great athletes, no doubt, but that is not what lost us this game. I personally can't wait until T-mart is gone. He is a great athlete and probably a great kid, but he is not a game manager he makes bad choices hesitates to long, stops running and gets pile driven to the ground, his passes for what ever reason seem more off the mark this year than last. The receivers had some drops and balls they should have gotten, but man they have to work really hard all of the time just to make a catch on a very simple route. I think not making a change at some point should be on the coach's so Beck should feel uncomfortable and Pap should feel really really uncomfortable right now.

 
Beck just needs to get his head out of his a$$. Paps needs to be demoted back to defensive line coach or something, and hire someone who can teach our guys how to tackle in space instead of sliding off guys like they are covered in butter.

Our offense doesn't know what it is, can be, or wants to be. A melting pot of mediocrity. Great pieces of a puzzle with no one capable of putting it together to create a coherent picture.
