Beck given his release

What if I was at the helm of the greatest football team in college football, What if I was ranked in the national poll, What if I wasn't gay!!! Sorry that last one just kinda came out!!! :dunno

 
If Beck Realy is As good as his Mother Advertised to the entire nation, then why in the hell wasn't he the starter? From the little bit that I saw of him Last year he had some petential but Taylor was clearly Much better then he was

 
Well that is dissapointing. I would have liked more from Beck.

At least he's gone, and not polluting Nebraska anymore. I don't know anything a bout him, but if he doesn't want to be a Husker, then he should get out of town. (fast).

 
I think it was a few thngs why he wasn't so good. Lack of playbook knowledge. That is a tough playbook to learn, and ZT had the whole spring and summer to get to know the ins and outs of it, and it showed in the last few games. Another was lack of respect from the upperclassmen. It seems like no one likes him, and you can't have that on a team where everyone seems to like eachother. The final thing is that he expected to be the guy and wasn't. Once he realized ZT was the guy last year, he probably didn't try as hard, because he knew he wouldn't get the spot. Not trying to make it o.k. that he left, but I guess he couldn't handle the pressure.
