Besides a win...

What 3 things would you like to see during the game Saturday?

For me...

1.  12 completions to at least 3 different WR's

2.  3 sacks by the defense

3.  One non-offensive score

36 completions would be a hell of a game by Adrian, and 12 catches by 3 different receivers would be awesome. ;)

EDIT: single game record for most catches is 14; let's rewrite the record books!

Four quarters of competitive football.

If I can pick only one quarter: the fourth.

More than zero quarterback hurries and sacks.

Running backs by committee average 5+ yards a carry, but one RB already looks ready to separate from the pack.

Energy on the sidelines.

1) 5 penalties or less

2) No turnovers

3) < 5 flare passes...for God sake can we please stop running this play so much

I get the hate for the play, but assuming we're throwing it to the right guys I actually hope to see several. They are presumably turning their DEs into OLBs, and it would be pretty negligent to not test their ability to cover ground laterally. Also pretty fair to assume they will load the box and make us prove we're willing to throw to unproven WRs. So I expect many of our plays that depend on a certain number of defenders in the box will take the wide option which is frequently a swing or bubble.

For me:

1) No big plays (20+ yard runs, 40+ yard passes) allowed on D

2) A consistent ground game

3) Winning the TO battle

Many sustained offensive drives.

Some 3 & outs on D.

A sack or 2 and some hurries.

Some chunk plays 20-30+, throwing and rushing.

Some line dominance, both lines.

To not have to yell WTH? at my TV more than maybe once.
