Best Gym Class You Had?

I think I have a top 3:

3: HS PE class, we had choices of what PE class you wanted to sign up for, one semester I got the best one! You did Flag Football, Floor Hockey, Basketball and Lacrosse...Such a fun time!

2: High School PE Swimming: This was only because I had a few hotties in my class and even though they had to wear one-pieces it was still sweet!

1: Middle School: Strobe light dodgeball...our gym had no windows...the PE teacher would turn off the lights and put on a strobe light...we would play dodge ball (with the old red rubber balls) playing in the pitch black gym with just the strobe light was sooooo freaking cool!

My 4th grade teacher had us play a variation of dodge ball for gym class. He called it "bombardment" and he would set up foam balls on top of cones near the back of each playing side. It was normal dodge ball rules where you eliminate people, but the real goal was to knock the foam ball of the cone. It was so fun.

We played bombardment in elementary school as well, except we used bowling pins instead. It was a ton of fun.

It was so cool and probably super dangerous...we only did it a few times. I am sure that if it was done today some crazy parent would have the schools shut down.

Mat-ball

Kickball in the gym with 4' x 8' gymnastic mats for the bases. No foul balls. You had to go around twice to score.

Two things made it great. First, there was no limit on the number of runners on any base. So you'd have 10 people take off in mass from the same base when the ball was kicked. Even better, to beat out a throw you would be running full speed and lay out diving for the mat, sliding 12-15 feet across the floor - but still on the mat - if you were moving fast enough.

I signed up for a dance PE class in college thinking it would be a great way to meet ladies. Nothing but guys...

Best would have been a long-term sub in 7th grade. Phenom runner but looked out of shape as heck. Said anyone that could beat him on a mile run would get free pass outta PE. Record times for the class on the mile run, just burned everyone the last 300m or so...
