Best non con win since...?

I think the NW game next week will tell us just as much about the team as Oregon did. For years we come out flat after big wins. If the team has truly turned the corner, we build off of this win.

I am as optimistic as the next guy but some of you need to slow your roll. Let's win against NW, then focus on the next , then the next. This team has much to improve upon and while we are all excited and proud of our win yesterday, any of our future opponents in the B1G could beat us, if we play sloppy.

The OP said ranked opponents in non conference games not including bowl games. You may have go back to Alabama in 1977.

agree with 1977 - in 2001 we were still towards the top of the world. Yesterday against Oregon was a notch above ND

He asked when the last time we beat a ranked non-conference opponent in a non bowl game. The answer is Notre Dame in 2001. There isn't any choice of which one you like better. It is a fact.
