:bonesflag: Went to a small school out in Western Nebraska. Played football and ran track at Doane.
High School
Football- Two time All State DB. Senior year led the state of Nebraska in interceptions regardless of class with 17. Two time All Conference as a Quarterback. Led team to the furthest it had ever been in the playoffs and had a career record as starting QB of 21-3, all loses to the same team. Played D-1, and always remember EVEN MAN FOOTBALL RULES!!!!!!
Basketball- Three time All Conference. And had 12 dunks my senior year. But the best was one I missed against the neighboring little sh#t town, and I got razzed by their fans for about 15 minutes straight. Everytime I touched the ball. I loved it. Took off from the volleyball backline, and back rimmed it back to half court. The kicker was I already had dunked on them twice. I loved basketball too much. The proximity of the fans and the availibility to talk smack. I talked way too much and my mom was so proud. I talked crap to you, your teammates, coaches, fans, student sections, cheerleaders, parents, and grandparents. I talked too much.
Oh and my junior year I was kicked out for getting t'd up twice after fouling out against our rival. My coach joined me about a minute later. We had a great chat the last half of the fourth quarter. Again my mother was SO proud.
Track-Two time medalists in the 400, again Class D. School records in the 200(22.7), 400(50.4), 300 hurdles(41.0), high jump(6'6) and the 4x100 relay. Never medaled at state in the high jump as I always had to run the 400 prelim and never could recover to jump decent. Also was the first person to qualify for state in four events. Track was in my genes, and I absolutely hated it. But it payed for an education at Doane and that isn't cheap.
At Doane, blew my hammy right before the indoor track season my freshman year and never was the same. In football was the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week my senior after the Hastings game. And played in the GPAC vs. the HAAC All Star game.
However, my greatest personal sports achievement was during my bachelor party in Chicago for a Cubs/Cards series and I caught a ball tossed to me from Micah Hoffpauer
