Best Receivers in NU History

Abdul Muhammad

If he played on a team that threw more than 15-20(qb comp% in the 50s mind you) times a game, he may have been all American. I think he chose NU over every Florida school. Rewatch the UM-NU natty game! Some of those catches were bananas at huge times of the game.
+1

No one even mentioned Kenny Cheatem. Guess we did call him stone hands his first bunch of years, but he was solid his SR. year i believe. It's pretty easy to forget all those recievers during that period.

Abdul Muhammed deserves his name on this list. No doubt.

Dana Brinson was a friggin stud. Should be getting more love than the likes, of Nunn, Mo Purify( he is my neighbor, and he did prawn Talib in that KU blowout), and others. The guy could straight fly and had great hands.

My favorite wr before Kenny Bell was Grant Mulkey. I wouldn't put him on the best of list, but that dude would get his head knocked off, but would still catch the ball. One tough mofo.

He had a brief Husker career, didn't he? I recall that he did not finish with the program.

So far,

Wing Back - Johnny Rodgers & Irving Fryar

WR - Purify (he caught it all, incredible WR) & Swift (stats)

Hopefully Kenny Bell or Jamal Turner can also add their names to the list of consideration.
