Best Restaurant in Omaha

My favorite probably changes by the week . . . but I'm always looking for new places. What are some of your favorites?

My list.

Current favorite overall: Avoli Osteria. The carbonara. Dear god, the carbonara.

Indian: Mother India

Pizza: Probably Dante . . . but heavily mood dependent.

Steak: Eh. Pick one. The big names are all literally world class. Probably Drover.

Burger: Stellas is probably my favorite burger but Dinkers is nearly as good and a lot less hassle.

Greek: El Basha overall, Amsterdam's fries.

Sushi: Maru for now . . . but I hear good things about Sushi Japan.

Tapas: Espana, by default I think?

Chinese: Rice Bowel. (No. I didn't misspell it.)

Lunch spot: Block 16. Might be the best value food in the city.

Bar: Krug Park. Crescent Moon if the thought of the hipsters at Krug is too much to bear.

I should probably cook more often . . .

Well, lighthouse pizza on 72nd and Pacific is pretty amazeballs
Never been but I will have to give that a go. What's it like and what do you usually order? We usually go to Dante, Peffers, Orsi's, or Pitch.
You can order by the slice and make it anyway you want.

I get thin crust...red sauce...pepperoni and cream cheese.

Then you get this amazing sweet ranch sauce with it...

Why don't more pizza places in Omaha have cream cheese as an option?

Some of my fav's:

pana88

Dario’s Brasserie

Barrett's

801 Chophouse

Salt

11-worth Cafe
I've never been to the bold but will have to check them out. Anything in particular I should try? 11-worth is straight up diner food right?

Barrett's is delicious. Pork tenderloin sandwiches FTW.

For Chinese food, there's this place on 114th and West Dodge Rd, on the opposite side of DJ's Dugout. By far the best chinese food I've tasted in that city
