Best Restaurant in Omaha

Some of my fav's:

pana88

Dario’s Brasserie

Barrett's

801 Chophouse

Salt

11-worth Cafe
I've never been to the bold but will have to check them out. Anything in particular I should try? 11-worth is straight up diner food right?

Barrett's is delicious. Pork tenderloin sandwiches FTW.
At 11-worth you can't go wrong with thier Chix fried steak dinner. Yep dinner food.

pana88 I usually get the Yin's Chix. And tbh their wings aren't too shabby either.

Salt - either their brick oven pizzas, or try the veal chops.

(I had Bluejay burger at Barrett's last night.)

Right on. The bluejay is excellent. I think I've had their kitchen sink burger before as well? Maybe it was the garbage burger? Either way it was tasty.

I'll have to give the others a try.

Drover's was recommended to me so I took some customers there once. Several of us ordered the Prime Rib and we were all very disappointed. Now, I have cooked Prime Rib enough to know that every once in a while you just get a bad roast and there is no way of knowing until you cut into it. I would like to go back sometime and try it again since so many people recommend it.

Whenever we go to Omaha, the kids want to go to Blue Sushi. It's good but I'm interested in trying some of the others.

I have heard good things about Shucks for seafood but haven't tried it.

I've never had the prime rib there . . . probably because I rarely order prime rib at restaurants. That particular dish seems very hit or miss.

I'd recommend the whiskey steak in whatever cut that you prefer.

Having moved away from Omaha, the ones I will always remember and try to get to when I'm back are La Casa Pizza and El Bees/Fernando's. Obviously not the best restaurant in town if you are looking for luxury or price but to me they are top notch.

People are always outraged when I tell them I don't like La Casa.
