Best Season in CFB

Here is a list compiled by College football News on the best seasons of all time. NU has five teams in the top 25, but didn't get #1. I don't think the new has worn off this season yet with texas beating the almighty Trojans. What do you think?

I don't know the fact they awarded NU a quality win at Kansas in 1995 makes me smile. I do see the '97 Huskers are ranked higher than the '97 Michigan team by a pretty good margin.

Something is askew with their formula because before the USC-Texas Rose Bowl game they had 95 Nebraska #1 and 71 Nebraska #2. Now 71 Nebraska has fallen to fourth and the 2000 Oklahoma team is #3. That doesn't add up since neither team has obviously played sinc ethe previous poll.

2 teams in the top 4 teams of all time isn't bad at all. If the 83 would of beaten Miami, we would of had 3 of the top 4 or 5.

1995 Huskers second to 2005 Texas? NU would have beat them. Not by a huge margin, but it would have been close. Oh..and Nebraska95 just scored again.. :rollin

wasn't the 95 season that NU was undefeated and CU, KSU, and KU only had 2 losses each? and each of them ended up in the top 25?
