Biden's America

It’s very strongly implied in your posts.  You don’t have to come right out and say it…. To say it.

That's the thing about the ilk that would do something like vote for Trump twice; they can genuinely believe something along the lines of, "well he didn't actually explicitly vehemently declare that he doesn't like black people, so therefore, must not be a racist"

It would almost be cute as far as naivete goes if it wasn't for how actually pathetic it is.

Ummmm, literally what most of the posters here do.  Often.

I guess one could question why the ilk would vote twice for a career politician who voted against school busing because he didn’t want his kids to go to school in a racial jungle, tells black people that they are just as good as poor white folks, tried to politically lynch a black Supreme Court justice nominee on bogus charges, tells his black opponent for the presidential nominee that “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man." (Watch Biden's comments and Obama's reaction http://i.a.cnn.net/cnn/.element/img/1.5/main/icon_video.gif“

A guy that has stolen valor with the civil rights movement by constantly lying on his involvement with it.

Vote twice for The same politician who is losing support of the black community at historic rates from the past 40 years to the supposed “racist” because of his past policies and statements against the black community.   Does naïveté come into play.

Naivete :dunno

Because we see the alternative. And we don't reflexively make excuses why they're somehow the better alternative.

Arrests for illegal border crossings have dropped more than 40% during the three weeks that asylum processing has been suspended, the Homeland Security Department said Wednesday.

So he can turn down the spigot. Why didn't he do this 3.5 years ago?

The restrictions he announced at the beginning of June cut off asylum access when arrivals at the border reached a certain number, infuriating immigration advocates who say the policy differs little from what Trump attempted.

Maybe thats why. It took getting beat up on an election topic for Biden to do anything. I hate politics.

Have you asked this before or was that someone else? Either way, I feel it’s been answered many times, much better than I can. But Biden tried to work with Congress on this. He didn’t want to have to rely on an executive order for it. You can google for more details.

My point is that he didn't need Congress. Congress won't do anything and he had no desire to do shut the border down until the election year. He didn't care.

Congress DID do something.  It had plenty of support to pass.  Until Trump decided he needed it not to happen in An election year.

This shouldn’t be hard to understand.
