I'm sorry, but I just don't see us going 4-6. We had Wisky on the ropes with what was a decidedly inferior team last year. Same with Iowa, plus we get Iowa early before they can get their defense and offense figured out.

Minnesota was a damn fluke last year, and I don't see that happening in Lincoln. Northwestern will be improved but not *THAT* improved, and Nebraska fans will fill that stadium out (to 50% capacity most likely). Purdue should be a win, though they may be a tough out late in the season. And Michigan State has all the hallmarks of being a train wreck this year.

Here is how we get to six wins in a 10 game BIG 10 season.  I show 7 wins below, so opportunity to mess up on one and still get to 6.

Purdue - W

Northwestern  - W - game is at NW - seems like we win the away games wt them.

Illinois  W

Rutgers   W

OSU     L

PSU     L

Iowa    W   - that team is in disarray now and we should have won last year

Wisc     L    or toss up  - but it is at Wisc so most likely a loss

Minny  W    - one year wonder  ends   Game in Lincoln

Other cross over game has yet to be picked

MSU?   W   - Some say likely cross over game -  another team in disarray

Just a small point of order--the Wisky game is in Lincoln. Iowa is away. I think this helps us out IMO.  :)
