Last year he came out of high school as the nation's #1 Kicker.

Depends on how you look at it. Barry Bonds hits a lot of home runs (well, did), would you call him the best hitter in baseball?

Jordan has had a great year, no doubt about it.

Yes I would.

Congdon is good though. I don't know about the best in the conference. Yet. :thumbs

Why isn't Dyches kicking? :sarcasm

Hey, I appreciate the talents of Congdon, and the fact that he hit a very "clutch" field goal vs KSU, but Mason Crosby is a stud.

Crosby may actually forego his senior yr. and enter the NFL draft early....A KICKER, leaving early, are you kidding me?!?

This kid's leg is unreal

I love Congdon, dont get me wrong, but he hasnt attempted anywhere near the length of field goal that Crosby drills in games. I saw a stat that showed his longest kicks made on a game by game basis, and I only saw one game when he didnt make a kick longer than Congdon's career long. In any other conference, maybe Congdon would be having the best year, but not this year in this conference. Crosby is the best in the country.

All I know is that supposedly CU has one of if not the best kicker in the nation as well as punter. Of course, they usually do have one of the best punters due to their high altitude carrying the ball.

My bet is that in the All American race, CU's kicker edges out Congden. Does it make him better? I don't know!

Yes, in this case, I can safely say that at this point Crosby is a better kicker.
I'd agree with that. I have seen Crosby knock through 55 yarders like it's nothing. He is a game changer. However, Congdon is doing a damn fine job and is an upgrade from what we have had the prior 2 seasons.

Congdon does need to improve his leg strength, and it seems like he hits the ball low at times. Things that can be worked on :thumbs
