All-Conference
i dont think so. Maybe on the MU side, but not at all for OU. They will always have TX and OSU first. MU and NE were not true 'rivals' to all husker fans, but given the two years inbeween OU games, MU was about the closest thing NE had to a 'rival' the last 7 years or so. games were back and forth and their seemed to be some dislike and importance put on that game from both players/coaches and the fans. It also helps that the north was decided by that game in 06,08,09 & 10. yeah MU has KU, and we hate KU, but Nebraska always felt like there was something important riding on that game.Oklahoma will replace us. The past five or so years Missouri and Oklahoma have played good games.I can't speak for all fan bases but I haven't seen a single thread or statement from a MU fan regarding this particular dilemma. Tiger fans are more concerned as to who is going to replace Nebraska as the most anticipated football matchup. Nebraska will do well this year. The Wisconsin game is going to be one of the highlights of the 2011 CFB season. Martinez will be a lot more fun to watch now that he is in a different conference.
I think most MU fans really want to beat OU, but its just not the same yet...we have yet to really upset the 'apple cart' by winning somewhat consistantly against them. But who really knows at this point, things are just going to be wierd for me for a while with the new schedules.
