Like Grix said in today's OWH. This teams goal isn't to be bowl eligible. It's to be in Houston at the end of the season. That, and I quote, is a "real goal".

Before everyone starts getting their panties in a bunch over which bowl we'll go to, why don't we just concentrate on becoming bowl eligible first. The bowl games will take care of themselves. They always do. BTW, I noticed in that group of projections that there are a total of six bowl games Nebraska could end up playing in. Let's all just sit back and watch things play themselves out. I, for one, am just thrilled to see the Huskers doing so well again. I mean, they're one fumble away from being 6-0! Look out Missouri, here we come!

Watching USC and ND was about like watching FSU and Miami. You wish that there was a conceivable way that both teams could lose or that lightning would strike the field and wipe everyone out.HAHA!

As I mentioned before, I'm hoping for the Cotton Bowl. But when you stop and thing about it....anything is an improvement upon what we did last year. We obviously have a team that can go to any of the aforementioned bowl games, but it will just be nice to get back to our post-season ways.

I predict as said eariler... Nebraska wins out, ends up 10-1 and gets into the Cotton Bowl, it will happen, oh it will.
