When Prince was hired, most of the fanbase were saying "who"? He has energized the fanbase like no other. Brought in young, confident assistants who recruit well, espically the WR's coach Pat Washington, formerly of Tennessee. We all know how well the Vols recruit, and he was their top recruiter. Both coordinators were former NFL assistants, and he evened out the staff with smaller college coaches who bring a hunger like the coaches KSU had in the early years in Snyder's era. He also is making the program more accessable to the fanbase, something totally different to the Purple Nation.

Are you refering to Bob Devaney with the Bobfather line? Just curious.

 
Heck, in College Football today, you are only as good as the assistants you bring in. Delegation and organization get the job done, anywhere. Guess you can say he was bright enough to have coaches like Osborne and Solich on the staff. Truly one of the greats of all time.
