How much you spend on sending your teams to road games, or running your stadium, or bringing in other teams to play you has very little effect on how many games you win. There has been a rush in facilities renovations in the south in the last 5 years, which has greatly affected their ability to recruit and therefore win games, but some teams in the north (Missouri and Nebraska) have begun to follow suit.
