The following law is taken directly out of the Nebraska State Constitution and has been modified for all to understand.
According to Nebraska Law #1, having your wedding on Husker game day is a near mortal sin, and we tar and feather as punishment. It's ok though, some people like it, makes them realize they weren't in their right mind, and they end up accepting their punishment.
We also have many sub-sections to the rule, for example there is a section that says you probably shouldn't get married on a Sunday either, for risk of ruining somebodies NFL gameday experience, and then there's the other part which entails that it probably isn't a good idea to have your wedding at any time during the fall. The punishment for the other two are much less drastic
i.e. taking the first born and breeding them into a football player or making you wear a buffalo costume. Generally the punishments are up to the board of Pro Awesome Husker Fans.
