Behind-closed-doors... sure. In the eye of the press... NO he would be the next target of the beebe gun.Would anyone else like to know what Bo thinks about this? And I'm talking about behind-closed-doors Bo.
Of course, your team stands to benefit quite a bit from this suspension.
Look at the replay again, where do you see Martin doing this? He lead with his shoulder and the guy wasn't paying attention and got rocked. Sure they may have hit helmets, but that was involuntary because of the whiplash. All I have to say about this is that it's his own fault he wasn't paying attention, and he paid the price for it. This is a contact sport and, although I am against cheap shots, this was not one of them. If you lead with your shoulder and hit the other guy's shoulder pads, the hitting of the helmets should be ignored because it wasn't in the intentions of the player making the hit.
Yep. Big 12 had a better angle. Helmet-to-helmet there. Ouch. (1:34 mark)
Spot on.Bottom line is, if this wasn't discussed at the NFL level, if Nebraska wasn't leaving the Big 12, if we didn't have a chance at the Big 12 title, none of this happens.
