Big 12 Tourney

Doesnt he finally have a few "big time" recruits coming in next year? Combine them with a Joe McCray and we may have something to build on. IMO it wouldnt make much sense to get rid of a guy that has his best class in his tenure on the way. Let him work with them over the next 1-2 yrs, and if we get stood up for the dance for the nth consecutive year, it will be time to move on.

I think one of the biggest things that could help Barry keep his job is Scott Spinelli. The guy is like John Blake at recruiting. Of course we're no Duke or UNC, but the class we have coming next year and McCray and Maric will all be pretty solid next year or the year after.

 
And how can you say that you would have more wins in the MVC. You can't even beat Creighton, or Southern Illinois. Those two teams make it to the tourney every year. and play top teams every year. And have proven over and over again that they can play with any one.

I think it is a bit of a stretch to say they can play with anyone. Every team in the Top 10 would hand them there backsides. Crap you could say top 15 since UConn is #14.
