Maybe I'm the minority...but I am just not understanding this trend of comparing conferences...and making up "what if" games to compare two different leagues.

I have been reading Tim Griffin's blog on ESPN.com and he has another link to another blog..and so on and so on.

There will NEVER be any concrete evidence available that can put this issue to rest..so why is it ALWAYS such a big deal?

Again, maybe I'm just the Odd Man Out....

And maybe it's the only thing to talk about during the loooong offseason.

 
You probably already know this whole nonsense comes from the need to fill 24 hours of airspace on several different TV channels, radio and internet sites. It's all just filler.

So no, you're not alone in your frustration.

When you get sick of hearing those SEC homers incorrectly state how their conference is so superior, you gotta hit them with a dose of reality. Though it doesn't seem to take in their fragile little minds.

 
The whole conference dominance thing is pretty much an SEC vs the world thing.. They are the ones who really care.. It's funny, during the CWS the rivals board had this same discussion.. It was SEC teams saying we want the SEC because it's SEC pride.. And FSU/Miami/UNC fans are like i hope those rival teams DONT win because they just have that much hate for them. What does it say if they win? Because Florida won the MNC last year does that automatically make Tennessee better than Nebraska? Just how I feel...
