Nebraska assistant coach Ted Gilmore told a Big Red Breakfast crowd today that one of the conclusions drawn this week is actually pretty simple: "Let guys play."

 

"Our whole approach this week is for each and every guy, the coaches, for everybody in the program, to re-examine what they're doing and look at what they can do differently," Gilmore said at the Holiday Convention Centre. "Because obviously we have to fix this, and we've got to fix it now.

 

"From a scheme standpoint, on both sides of the ball, we're going to take the excuses away. We're going to apply things and let guys play. Let guys play. If that's what some kids think are some of the problems, so be it. We're going to listen."
