"Big Red Is Back"

i love the press but people will wonder if this will put extra pressure on the players. but to counter, they're already is a huge amount of pressure on them already. they are playing for NEBRASKA. if that isnt a pressure cooker, i dont know what is..

People hate a winner and Nebraska has been winning for soooo long. One year with a losing record had the haters salivating at the prospect of our downfall. Now they are getting upset again as the team bounces back quicker than any other after they fell below the standards of the elite. Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Alabama all had multiple seasons out of the spotlight. What Nebraska is accomplishing is pretty impressive.

I truely enjoyed the article. All where true to the point and just an all around good reflection of the Big Red program. The best part is it came from someone one the outer scope of Nebraska.

:clap

We're on our way, but we are a bit away from "back". This year is big for national rep, going up against USC and Texas

I think we are on our way, but I would rather see a few games played before we get all giddy. It is nice that some rags think we are turning the corner, but until it is done on the field I will just be happy with what I think is coming. I still feel we are at least a year away from being a totally dominant team, but this year with this defense could prove me wrong. I don't normally like to be wrong but being wrong about this would make my day.

:yeah I agree

The last thing that NU needs is to get all set in our shoes and start slacking off. We have gotten back to this point through determination and hard work. We need to keep that "eye of the tiger" mentality and keep the preasure on the players. If we do get a shot at the title this year it is not going to be because we were living up to our former name. It is because we smashed everything in our way. :horns2

If most of the believers are right then the D will dominate. They were pretty darn good last year with key injuries. A healthy D this year will be scary just not for us. :)

If the O line produces then the spread offense will be record setting again. IMMHO. :horns2 :cheers

YUP,

Met him in San Diego last summer. Super nice guy. Builds great choppers too. Just out of my price range.

I don't shoot any of his guns at this time though.

in my heart, big red was never gone.
Thank you hack :thumbs

I don't believe that USC has *ANY* kind of a defense. I like that NU has two games to get their sails going, and I do believe that SC will play the 'skers tight on offense, especially at home. But SC's offense will be their downfall. No predictions yet, but I'm anticipating. :restore2
