Big Ten Announces Future Schedules (2022-2025)

Look at Iowa’s 2024....ridiculous. Rutgers, Maryland, and Indiana. While we get Michigan, Penn State, and Ohio State.

No worries: by 2024 Kirk Ferentz will be 100 years old and Iowa will still be mediocre, while Frost will have Nebraska several years into a new era of dominance. Michigan, PSU, and OSU will no longer be a threat and will have gone through multiple coaching changes as a result of repeated scandals.

The goal is to get our side to be the tough side so when a team over there gets Nebraska on the schedule they go "crap".  Hopefully that occurs much sooner then 2024.

Play the best, beat them all.

And by 2026, chances are good we will have Oklahoma and (most likely) Kansas on the docket again.  :thumbs

If not sooner...

This. Probably not a coincidence that this goes through 2025. For those who don't know, that's when the Big 12's current grant of rights expires, and moves are already being made to clear a path for OU to potentially enter the Big Ten once that happens.

Since it appears the B1G is going stay at 9 conference games for a while, I wouldn't mind playing the Goophers for the 1st game every season and then schedule one of our weaker non-conference games in October/November like those chumps in the $EC do.

By 2024 we should be humming along like a well oiled machine. Ill only worried if we have to start a new QB that year. Not saying we will go undefeated but every game should be winable.

Wonder if the SEC does their's by random draw? It's not like schedules are important in college football or anything.

I like playing UM, but I hope we randomly start getting PSU more often on the next cycle.

I would love for us to end the season with PSU and Iowa every season forever.

This is why the division champion should be the team with the best division record. NU could go 6-0 against division foes, yet have a possible conference record of 7-2 and Iowa go 5-1 against the division (losing to NU by 45) and win the division by going 8-1 against weak cross over games
