Big Ten Division Names and Logo Released

Ahhhh, "BIG/B10"...clever! Took me a while to see it. Sorta dig this logo. Better than the Big Ten, but wait, 11.

Gawd, this part is dreadful boring. If they really name the divisions something like 'Leadership' or 'Unity' or 'Strength', I'm going to puke :P

Really disappointed that the geographic names went out the window so easily.

One of the upsides of having your own network: you can put announcements like this on the air instead of having it roll across the bottom of ESPN.

One of the downsides: they stall announcing division names with this "what does leadership mean to you" nonsense. chuckleshuffle

 
Nice segment on leadership, even TO got a spot, as he rightfully should being one of our state's most recognizable leaders ever.

Actually, it was a really cool video and the announcement was done in a very nice and cool way.

But....these are just division names, not freakin' motivational posters :(

Pac Ten North, Pac Ten South. ACC East, ACC West. Big 12 North, Big 12 South.

....

Big Ten Legends, Big Ten Leaders?

Yuck. IMO, a pretty lousy approach after everything else was done pretty well. Trying way too hard here to make a neat announcement/get positive press rather than think about the actual utility of these names long-term.
