This is pretty surprising - I watched most of the B1G games yesterday and I thought Nebraska had a real strong showing. Your offence looks a lot better than last year

yea this is totally wrong imo, based on yesterday we should be #1 or 2 behind Ohio St. Wisconsin look poor against UNI, Michigan St. barely beat a very down Boise St. Michigan got flat out embarrassed Bama. The Huskers yesterday looked like a serious contender for the grandaddy of them all!

HuskerShark's B1G power rankings:

1. Ohio State

2. Nebraska

3. Michigan State

4. Michigan

5. Wisconsin

6. Purdue

Who cares about the rest of the order...

I should have put out the caveat that, yes this is the first game, but I think power rankings are somewhat like this...

1(tie) Ohio St - Nebraska

2. Mich St

3. Wisc

4. Mich

5 Purdue

6 Northwestern

7 Iowa

8 -11 inconsequential

I am surprised we didn't get an arrow up instead of an arrow even. The offense was stellar. Obviously the guy didn't watch the game.

I don't know if we are deserving of no 1 in the power rankings but I think it's fair to say we are somewhere in the mix.

You never know what you get in that first game, overall I think it's got a glimpse of potential weakness and strength.

It's hard to see how anyone with a hint of knowledge (my category) about football would have the Huskers that low. That being said, this time of the year it really means nothing. Injuries and maturity (growth on both sides of the ball) will make or break most teams by years end.
