ZT or Grix?

I have to go with ZT. Can't blame Grix too much, he's so tiny.

I hate games where you know the other team isn't better than you, but you lose anyway.

grixby EASY. we wouldn't have been throwing the ball all 2nd have if we would have had a decent CB.

lets not forget

no ZT = no big 12 north title

no grixby= no big deal

I know ZT is why we got here, but that doesn't make his goatness any less egregious. ZT is the goat in my book, because he under-performed. Grix was Grix.....short.

Honestly, I don't think our team was ready to be the big XII champions. If we won, it would have been great, but I don't think we are the best team in the big XII. We will be soon. But we do not have the necessary refinement.

For one thing, our secondary is DII. Nothing against the guys, but it just is.

What BC has done, however, is put Nebraska back under the spotlight. That will allow us to have good recruiting classes. Everyone in the nation knows that there is room on the NU secondary, and that a solid contributer can get you to the a BCS bowl.

Stoops did a great job with keeping our LB and secondary messed up -- lets not forget he's a great coach and coach of the year for our converence. Our secondary was our biggest weakness, and on the 99 yard drive it was taken care of completely.

I really hope ZT has an awesome last game for our bowl game. I think we will do well in our bowl game. I think the championship game shows that we are close, but not quite a top 10 team at this time. The next year, maybe two, we should be there.

That being said, going back to our defense, we gave up only really 14 points. That's pretty damn good against a great team like OU, who was basically 11-1 going into the game.

I have nothing but respect for our players and our coaches. We just didn't have it in us this time. I am looking forward to the future. Good job Stoops, OU. I am sure they will represent us well in the Fiesta Bowl. A rematch again in KS would be great next year.

Win as a team lose as a team. No one player gets blamed for this.

I'll go with Callahan since in the press conference after the game that's who he said to blame.

I have to agree with you on this. grix didnt throw 3 int's, nor did he fumble our first play. There is enough blame to go around from the coaches to the players. I will not single any one player out. Except that our punter and punt team had a fantastic day keeping the Huskers in positive field position for most of the second half.

I look forward to our next game and next year. We are improving, to slow for some and faster then expected for others.
