I was listening to this game on the radio on the drive back from Minneapolis. I had a feeling it would be monumental in deciding the division race. I figured we'd beat MSU and then lose one remaining game (although I never thought it would be Northwestern).

Now, assuming a horrible virus doesn't spread to half the MSU team before the Indiana game, Northwestern is our only hope. And we won't know until the day after our regular season is complete. Rough.

I think playing before Michigan State does gives us a huge advantage. Think about it. Say we win out, finish the year 10-2. Michigan State now must win their game in order to go to Indianapolis. And could have to do it against a very motivated Northwestern squad which may be fighting to get to 6 wins.
