Nobody knows...

...maybe it's Callahan himself and they just asked him to embellish little on his voice so that people didn't star thinking it was him.

I'm pretty confident it's Matt Schick from KETV Channel 7...however, in at least one of the Foreign Callahan bits, you can tell it's a different, not as polished voice.

yes it is matt. he also did it one day while co-hosting the show. sometimes he will use it on the news. i heard them talking about making a cd of all the jim rose and bill in lincoln things but i dont know if they went any further.
