The novelty of Leach would expire very quickly here. Sure he’s a fun guy with awesome quotes but we need to win football games and championships. We need to set the bar higher than better than Callahan, Pelini and Riley. Way higher. There are way too many coaches who qualify for better than Riley but still won’t be good enough.

I get what you are saying but I still think from an overall standpoint you can't run programs in the respective conferences the same and be successful.  The B1G and Pac-12 are very different animals.

OMG.  Leach is at the very least hilarious.  If the one percent chance he becomes our HC, at least I'd have some laughs instead of hearing aww shucks.  I like some things I saw out there, I don't like others.  I feel like if I coached 50 more years we would be right in it.

i don't think this means Leach is leaving Pullman, But ML is one of my favorites. 

Personally, I think it makes it more likely that Leach leaves Washington State ... Just not for Nebraska.
