So the real question is who is replacing him? I pray it isnt someone already on the payroll....
If that is even true that that happened, the quote from @Mavric post above could be why.And that he went above Moos' head to do it. That could be part of the issue here. Tough and probably extremely frustrating to do your job when the football coach has more power than you as AD.
Especially during the start of the COVID pandemic, Moos spent large stretches of the summer at his cattle ranch in eastern Washington — Moos would readily admit in interviews where he was or if he was driving through Montana back to Nebraska — instead of North Stadium, where the bulk of the athletic department works. He hired two Senior Deputy A.D.s — John Johnson and Klassy — to handle internal and external departmental work while Moos handled media interviews and made numerous appearances for fans. The department is full of competent employees, one source said, who made things run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. But $150 million operation with hundreds of employees needed final input from a leader.
Or possibly Ed Stewart. That is my big fear here.
Time for Trev Alberts?
To be fair, at the age he was when hired, I never thought this would be a long term thing anyway.
I’ve not heard that before, but I have no insider information. It's pretty well known that Frost and Moos do not like each other.
I thought Hoiberg disliked Pollard?Throw the biggest bag you can at Jamie Pollard
Which is possible. But, the bolded is the key word.Could be but the rumor was that Frosty and Moos already had some tension and Frosty decided to go above Moos about OU and that REALLY pissed him off.
I mean, when you hear it from multiple credible sources, very close to the program, I would believe it.Which is possible. But, the bolded is the key word.
Pollard nickled and dimed the bball program at ISU when Hoiberg was there. Doubt pollard is on the table. Dark horse option if he’s done coaching, Rob Childress?I thought Hoiberg disliked Pollard?
