Rodgers has been developing quite a deal recently. He's a viable starter.

How would you know this? He's attempted 59 passes in three years. That's little more than six quarter's of work for and NFL QB.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just curious how you make this assessment.

Okay, that wasn't meant to be phrased as fact. Sorry. I'm not going on observation from his gametime performance, but rather Green Bay-area articles about him that I've read and Packer fans' insight gathered from training camp and so forth. The consensus in the Packer camp, heading into this past season, seems to be that Rodgers is ready.

Of course, they may be totally wrong, but I think the coaches are very confident about him. That, or they were just saying that to the media.
